This unit was inaugurated in 1980
by the efforts of the pioneer of the vestibulogy in Egypt Prof. Dr.
Mamdouh El Gohary. He made a great effort throughout his career to
make this difficult and dark spot come into light. |

The unit is located in the 3rd
floor of the ENT department, El Demerdash hospital. Also
affiliated to it, is an ENG testing service at the outpatient
clinic of ASUSH. This field is a zone of close cooperation between otologists and
audiologists.
The recent developments in this field have been tremendulously
helpful. The unit has been updated by the latest diagnostic
instrumentations available worldwide.

Posturography (Equitest)
An integrated program of vestibular rehabilitation is also
available.
